WAITING FOR HOUSE PRICES TO DROP???

For those of you buyers who are still waiting for the market to drop, you need to pay close attention to the weather channel more closely( NOT). The reason why I'm saying this is based on what David Lereah, chief economist for the Realtors association has said. He has attributed the boost of house prices to the recent warm weather we have been receiving. He also said that the recent snow in the colder parts of the country will have an effect on the way homes are being sold. Well my friends what does this really mean? It means that the sale of homes have gone up 3% since December of 2006, but still down 4.3 % since January a year ago, but the thing is it is still up. They are saying that this is a seasonal thing and things will get back to normal. My opinion is that if you are waiting to purchase a home that you and yours have been dreaming about but still waiting for PRICES TO DROP, well let me be honest with you, I don't think it will drop the way some buyers are looking for it to. You see friends, while you are WAITING for the price to drop, you are LOSING OUT on the house you want. The Real True Buyers know what they want and they go for it. Buyers if you really need a HOME, and want to enjoy the luxury of knowing this is yours( I'll tell you that is a GREAT FEELING knowing it's yours) you'll stop lallygagging and get the move on to find it. Listen every area throughout the country has its spots where the price will never go down, but there are also a lot of places where there will be some flexibility. Remember if you are a first time buyer don't get over your head, but focus on what's important and that is to STOP PAYING RENT and have your own home. Do you know the average RENTER spends about $10, 800 a year ( this based on a two bedroom apartment averaging at $900.00 through out the country based on where you are) on rent alone which is not tax deductible. Basically it's money flushing down the toilet. Can I SHARE MY TESTIMONY, I waited and waited just to let homes slip out my hands simply because I was focused on one thing: the IDEAL HOME, and got caught in an even higher market. You can't predict what next month , next 6 months or even next year will be, but you do know your pocket and if its in your pocket to buy a home go for it. If you are not in that situation YET MAKE IT A PRIORITY. Remember its your first home and not your DREAM HOME. GO FOR IT. GOOD LUCK.

REFERRALS

To Whom It May Concern:

This is a referral for Mr Conrad Higgins. Mr Higgins has handled many Real Estate deals for me and my husband in the past five to seven years. In that time Mr. Higgins has shown us the utmost respect and his integrity has been impeccable. Conrad has always done what we asked, and given us advise from his vast knowledge of the Real Estate market. Conrad is not a cut throat Broker, he work for his client's best interest not just a quick sale. I have found Conrad to be trust worthy and a person you need to know when dealing in Real Estate. Conrad has a sort of six sense about the market, that's a benefit you need in a Broker. Conrad Higgins is an all around good guy and someone I can now call my friend. That's the kind of service you get from Conrad, because after you've done business with him you end up wanting him for a friend. One other thing about Mr. Higgins is, in case you missed the point of this letter, Conrad is very good at what he does!!!

To whom it may concern,

In the year 2002, we became homeowners for the first time, and as some my know, it can be a scary experience. Having someone like Conrad who is there to answer all of our questions and to see us through all the rough edges, was a privilege. The overwhelming feeling of being scared, was replaced by anxiety of experiencing the American dream. The process was smooth and very easy. During this process, Conrad was not just our agent, but later became our friend.

Sincerely,

Mr & Mrs Hill
